don't worry bout the downloads and power packs and swm spliters , etc,,,,, just keep a slm 3  ( or 5 )  peak it,,  put you swm on,,,,, easiest way , takes less than a minute to swap lnbs,,, but if you have a newer birdog you can power thru the swm splitter from the ac power just plug birdog into one of the non red ports on splitter. you should get a signal on you meter
