I have been in this business for over 12 years now and i have seen the prices get cut so many times. I kept working in this business because i could still make money, but now with these new prices here i don't see how anyone could make a living and support their family. When you look at the hours we put in through out the week and only getting one day off a week which most of the time it isn't a weekend day off, is it really worth it to work for suck a low pay. I mean you can actually go to a fast food place and work the same amount of hours you work as a contractor and still make the same amount of pay you are making now.

I hate installing for Direct t.v. because of all the BS charge-backs and red tape you have to follow, but with these new pay cuts, direct tv is looking better and better everyday as long as you go in as a in-house tech so don't have to spend your own money on material and have a high gas bill on your vehicle.
