the pay cuts are across the board and they are not just rate cuts in houston. these cuts are nationwide from what info i have gathered.  that really sucks for all the installers. i know i have watched rates get cut time and time again over the years. ya figure at some point something would have to give and the cable companies would realize that these cuts , in the long run, hurt the overall product and bottom line of their companies. i say this because good techs cant make it on what the pay is nowadays (or i wonder how you folks do it).
