Not Stressful? The work itself no. Dealing with an everchanging pay scale and fluctuating work load, definitely stressful. Servicing the dumbest customers on the planet is stressful.. Trying to keep the utilities on, food on the table and gas in the truck.. stressful. Not even counting the stress of dealing with Comcast, Cox, MediaComm, Knowledgy, TWC, Charter etc and all the wonderful things that goes with that. I would say that most would agree that if it was just; get your work, complete your work and get paid it would be a cakewalk.. In a perfect world..... (insert harp music here)
Ah yes in a perfect world :
The work orders would always be right...
The pay scale would increase each year your on the job...
Contractors would be respected instead of treated like we're on work-release..
My check would be more than I billed for...
There would be rewards/incentives for good quality work.
I could go on, but you get the idea..
