for kingwood cable i had to bury tv and tel  joint venture 12to 14" depth, it is now part of the suddenlink system. i then buried tel 12" depth for another 8 in humble and atascocita for a total of 28 years of drop buries, must be a record for stupidity!  cost me a pair of knees and 4 maxi @ mini sneakers and a lot of blood sweat and ... if you get into the business make sure you are paid well!! the illegal laborers in houston have driven down the prices where comcast contractors now only pay about .18/ft.
