I filed in 08 and I owed 1800. I have no dependants. In 09 i filed and wrote off more stuff and only paid in 65.
But what Im trying figure out is this. normal W-2 workers dont get any breaks on dudections so they always pay taxes right? If i was determined to be an employee I would paid taxes. As a sub i end up not paying nearly what i would if i was W-2 employee. So my concern and question is this. If I file an SS-8 and they determine we are employees what will happen? Cause we are treated as subs but i am pretty sure the IRS would say we are employees.
