Where do you get the information you base those statements on? I have heard all those points brought up, have considered them, as I searched for "the Truth", and in doing so have been educated with facts that opened my eyes to the conclusion I have to come to. We can go back and forth, and back and forth, and most of those statements have validity, on the surface, but once you dig deeper and look at all sides, you come to a simple truth that is impossible to ignore, unless of course you don't care to go there. It takes hours upon hours of exhaustive research, as there is massive amounts of information obtainable, but it keeps coming around to one simple truth. As far as the changing of translations, that is a seriously in depth study that will bring you to an eye opening truth, and that is that God's Word doesn't change. IF you seriously want to study this out, I can give you MANY references to read through. I am not saying "organized" religion is what saves, as there are MANY different doctrinal views on MANY different subjects, but there is one simple truth that ALL true Christian religion agree upon, and that is Jesus Christ is the Son of God, came to this world in human flesh, suffered, died, was buried, and resurrected as a propitiation for our sin, that salvation is available to those who believe, repent of their sin, and trust in Him. Remember, All can be wrong, but not all can be right. I base what I believe on the Bible. I am in my last semester of a 6 semester, 3 year, Bible college course that chronologically took me through the Bible, word for word, and all doctrinal beliefs, theological beliefs, of EVERY major religion, cult, or sect, examining the accuracy and history of each. That, along with many other study groups, sermons, documentaries, commentaries, etc, has brought me to what I believe. I am a contrarian, and thoroughly examin all material before making an opinion on whether it's valid or not. I am not just saying these things from what I heard or what someone taught me that had their own agenda. I put it to the test.
