Your reply is exactly why you believe many of the stupid things on the internet. The formula you laid out is not an economic formula. Imagine if all men are naked, and are on the earth with nothing. Both get cold at night. No jobs, no house, no nothing. One man figures out if you process cotton the right way, you can make blankets to stay warm. So he makes a blanket for himself. Another man sees the blanket and wants one. The guy says, give me some of your food so I don't have to hunt as much, and ill make you a blanket. The demand for blankets rise, when people hear about the new invention. The one man company, then becomes a 10 man company.
If you really think Jobs are the engine, so be it. It just shows the mindset of people who follows the likes of the Tea Party.
Unemployment has not gone up 126% under Obama. That is a flat out lie. But even if it had, employment is a lagging indicator. So depending on when the rate shot up on OBama, the policies of the previous administration would probably be to blame.
