First of, do you guys really think the primes could band together against Comcast? If they tried they (and all their techs) would be out of jobs because Comcast would just bring in new primes that would more than likely be very shady and have horrible price structures.
Second , and most importantly , I know for a fact that Hi-Gear pays a true 50% cut of the rates they are given. They are honest, pay right, and pay on time - EVERYTIME !!!
Insall primes, believe it or not, work within a VERY small profit/loss margin now with the way Comcast wants the primes' companies set up. Most of you folks may think the prime you work for are idiots, but these folks have gotten to the point they are at by sheer hard work on most accounts. I can tell ya for a fact that Sam could go out and do any job his techs could do. On top of the installs, he could build, activate, and maintain the plant his installers make their living on.
Understand all of what you speak of before making statements that show you unwise....
