I got rid of cable tv seven years ago, switched to dish then dumped them two years ago. I have three tv"s in the house each with their own computer hooked up to them. One subscription to netflix for 8.99, and can stream different movies at the same time on the three computers. Also just built a server that has two 1 terabyte hard drives that I am able to store shows and movies on. Over one hundred and not even close to full. This also can run three seperate streams to all computers at one time.
Also have the tv's hooked up to ota, but since I live in the sticks, only get 22 channels. You can fnd just about any tv show you want to watch when you want to watch it over the internet The content providers are shooting themselves in the foot buy making the carriers pay more per sub. They might learn soon if more people start getting rid of their services.
