Re:Pacific NW mapping

it makes me sick to see a posting like this!!!you did this once before back in dec.i have been in this buisness for a long time.i know ,or know of hundreds of mappers and everyone i have talked to is very busy!niether i ,or any of my close associates have ever heard of you ,so i don't know if you are a mapping contractor taking on projects you can't handle,or a design firm trying to get rich quick.in either case, quality mappers do not come cheap, and there is a industry standard for pricing.this is a transiet job with a lot of risks involved, mappers should't have to give away their services for chump money.without the mappers, nothing gets done.Maybe in your little part of the country 80 to 90% of mappers aren't working but there is plenty of work either ongoing or coming up all over the mid-west south-east and north-east. good paying work ,for quality companies .These companies have no need to post on the bar...

>Prior to Xmas, we posted an ad looking for mappers for Oklahoma work. That job has now been filled. Excuse us if we did not get back to you personally because of the Xmas rush. We are now looking at 2000 miles of mapping in the NW area. Pay is not great but if you want to pay bills it is work!!! We are looking for 4-5 experienced strand mappers. No ex-splicers or linemen please, only serious pro mappers.

>We know 80-90% of the country's mappers are looking for any work, so please supply refs that we will definitely check. Some of the refs supplied to us for Oklahoma did not check out too well.
