IMO, neither the past, present, or future economic climate has much effect on CATV workers. CATV worker's wages decline no matter what. When economic times are good wages decline, when economic times are bad wages decline.
A brighter economic climate only means there will be more money pouring into the CATV industry that cable workers will never see.
CATV wages only go one way. Down. Until workers organize, this trend will continue.
