I use 1/2 inch for single and 3/4 for dual. Thats if u use the bushings. Just slap some silicone around the bushing and put it in, Just like in the video. Never had any problems with that size. For wood I like the augur bit. Then depending on where u live you will also need masonary bits. I get mine at Home Depot. Make sure you go with all steel. The aluminum ones won't last long.
