Not only are you protected by minimum wage laws but also the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). You are eithe an Exempt (salaried) employee of non-expempt (hourly/production. Under FLSA you cannot be classified as both. Take your paystubs to the closest state Dept of Labor office near you. Explain your job and they'll explain what you should be paid according to the state and federal laws. Be prepeared to take others up on their offers. Employers don't take kindly to having their asses handed to them.
