AP 45 has more reach than the T-40 and the AP45 is a derrick digger converted to a bucket truck, thus making it a lot more powerful unit compared to the T-40, BUT i like the T-40 joystick better than AP, i dont like twisting the joystick to swing it,, thats my prefs, peace out
