You know I never thought of the car alarm that way, sounds like a good idea. but if I set off the alarm when some scum bag tries to break in to my place then I can't welcome him with the 12 gage pump full of double 0. Not a person in the world that could mistake the sound of racking that first round into the chamber.
Bit the car alarm would save on the cleaning and repair bills, and all the paperwork for the police.
