Re: 4-22-10

Many confuse James with teaching works with faith unto salvation, but I interpret him stating that faith brings about works. How can one have true faith and not exhibit works through that faith. He says faith without works is dead, and I agree, but that does not state that one is not saved without performing works, as salvation comes to us through grace and not by works, lest any man should boast, as Ephesians tells us. Were salvation obtainable by works, then Christ died for nothing.
