I hope you're not posing this question from a standpoint of wanting to work for FTS. I don't want to get in any trouble for bashing a company on a public forum, so I'll keep my 'bashery' to a minimum. I currently work for FTS because they bought out the company I hired on with, and it has been utterly humiliating for someone who has worked as an independent contractor for years to stay with this company.
To answer your question, yes, they are working in Fort Myers. They are shipping people there from other markets to cover the work load. Our project manager tried to get volunteers to go there to help establish the company just this morning.
Anyway, if you like bottom of the barrel pay rates, insane fuel allowances, paperwork for the paperwork then paperwork for that paperwork, micro-management, and bonuses paid to 'company-man' supervisors at your expense, then FTS is a great company to work for!
