technically it is 1/4" of folded baid EVENLY braid, 1/4" of foil covered dielectric, and 1/4" center conductor that has not been scored AT ALL. The problem with those 9 dollar cheapies is that when they have been dropped it does not take much to knock the blades out of alignment. The blade that removes the dielectric may be scoring the center conductor where you cannot see it. This will no doubt give you problems! Screw it, do what you want how yo want as long as you are not working for me or I have to go clean up your mess. Dude, Installs are really a no brainer. I can towers to the TV, I'll take my installs and go home at the end of the day rather than all the bs, lying and plain outright robbery that seems to be rampant in every other discipline. Once a Dawg always a Dawg period. Trying to share experience here and there always seems to be the doucebad that takes thins to another tangent...nice...
