Obama's father was from Kenya , was married and had two children their, while studying at the University of Hawaii he met Stanley Ann Dunham (Ann). Unfazed by the fact that Obama Sr. already had a wife and children back in Africa, Dunham agreed to marry him. Obama Jr. was born in Honolulu on Aug. 4, 1961 (still not proven) they did travel to Africa from time to time. At the age of 2 his father left. His mother filed for divorce, and when he was 6 she re-married Lolo Soctoro of Indonesia, and the family moved to Jakarta Where Obama grew up and learned ( in his own words) "to lean towards Islam". Obama returned to Hawaii to attend the university under a foreign scholarship, and live with his grandma. In collage he acquired a dislike for the white race, and his biggest hero was Malcolm X.
