I've been watching antenna television for the past 3+ years and love it. 44 channels for no monthly fee. Just the one time cost of the antennas and accessories that amount to no more than $120 total. I have recouped the monthly cable fee many times over.
With that said, I do still have cable, because it is cheaper for internet + basic cable than just internet by itself. Fucked up I know, but that is how TWC does things. At least around here. And I need the internet for my Vonage phone service & of course, the WWW. So the kids get the cartoons, the wife gets her lifetime and I get everything else that is OTA(over the air) which includes channels not carried by TWC. Better picture, exclusive channels, no monthly fee, never an outage...it just doesn't get much better.
