I wouldn't dare suggest that a sales forum can save the world or even inspire any immediate changes within the industry. Unfortunately, most of what you mentioned is true.
I am wondering, would it be helpful if, the managers/owners of the quality sales companies, had a place to swap information about offers, commissions, rates, etc....
There are pros and cons to this and it is just an idea, but it could be something to explore. Information empowers, just because it's not happening now, doesn't mean it can't ever happen.
You mentioned that bottom feeder companies, and sub standard business people, bring it down for everyone. Perhaps we should be discussing how to create barriers to entry into the market place, to keep the garbage out. Feel free to start that as a new topic in the New and Fresh Sales Forum section :)
