I agree that everything should be researched. Some of us are quick to shoot from the hip. We need those as well. I tend to work too much and have a few drinks and respond out of line occasionally. We must remember though that all of us were raised with different ideals and were taught and learned different lessons along the way. To be open minded during your understanding of other points of view and questioning with reason and maturity will decide if we can reach common ground. In reality most of us can find common ground. Here we tend to argue points that are designed to divide our ranks for lack of better words.
