Ignorance can be fixed...IF they are treating your gas money as income and deducting taxes they are also paying FICA..about 8% of your wages. It is in their best interest to NOT pay FICA on your gas money.

Stupid is forever. It is a fuck up on their part. Ask them for an explanation. Expect the usual answer to stupid stuff; "corporate said to do it this way," which is not an answer.

Small deal. Keep your own records and ignore their version.
