Highland Communications

I have dealt with quite a few contractors now but a large part of my employment was with Highland communications. I felt I should share my experiences .... They did pay almost everything I owed.

However due to a management mistake and me not knowing the business well (Highland was the first company I worked for) I lost $2,000.00 in Springfield, IL - at least ... They made up 3 + weeks of hard work to me by paying me for one weeks of orders - $750 .. I had at least a couple thousand more outstanding. I wrote this off to poor local management not upper management.

Then I worked in Peoria and long story made short between there and Denver when I worked for them they decided since I wasn't going to their new system in L.A. to ignore all my calls now after Beatris (their main accountant) told me my hold release check would be sent out two Mondays ago.

To recap - one mistake possibly wasn't their mistake but money was collected, orders were installed, and put under my rep. I know Highland had to of invoiced those orders so the money had to of gone somewhere. Then this hold release situation is a big deal with them. They are a huge pain to get hold money back from. On top of that, I heard they had HUGE issues in Florida, they have lost a couple systems recently ... and a one person that knows this business well told me they were in trouble. I thought I should spread the word before any one works in Los Angeles L.A. system they are TRYING to get up and running now ... Which they have a no collect contract for and are still collecting money on ...

Tony, Beatris, and Jason all know how to reach me - I even informed them nearly 48 hour ago I was going to make this post if I didn't hear back soon and AGAIN they did not reply to my calls knowing I was going to make this post. So they obviously don't care much about the situation or their reputation any more at all ...
