Depends on how your contract got restructured by the sounds of it. Service calls went down $10, and ONLY PAY if it is PROVEN to be Dish faulty equipment, otherwise turn it over to DNS for anything like moving a dish and absolutley no Reinstalls, which brings me back to the DNS thing. I roll up and its a nightmare that needs a Reinstall, I will sacrifice the 25 on the S/C and kick it back to DNS, they get paid by the hour.2nd dish went down 10 on a NC/DM, down 20 on a U/G. But the company compensated by upping the NC/DM jobs 10 bucks a line (depending on how good your TC, Quas and CSAT ratios are), some guys took a 5 per line hit and some took a 10 per line. We only lost 1 guy so far after the "new deal". U/G with add tuner is 25/15. So we kept a 2nd tuner price here, that sucks you guys lost it. Sounds like whoever has you "pie" to deliver daily may be still greedy and holding out on more money, let the tech take the loss, but heck thats the norm for this industry last time I checked. Good luck guys, hope things work out for everyone. I am watching this 300 million hit on Dish from TIVO and the "expert speculators" are thinking Dish may lose ability to offer DVR service. Far fetched, MAYBE, just like they thumbed their nose at the FCC over local channels and still went out and got them through another means. Nothing surprises me in this industry anymore really, and if you are one of the unfortuantes out there that hasn't been bitten by the Telecomm beast at one point, hold on and be ready, it WILL happen! Best luck guys!
