When we were rebuilding the Market district in San Francisco in the late "80"'s we would pull the vault open and cone and caution tape it off and go to the other end end of the 1" run and sit with the binoculars and wait for the suit to walk up and go inside the caution tape to see what was going on, then throw the handle on the compressor and blow the conduit clear, more than one had to go to the cleaners.
