That's ok as long as your pipe isn't full of packed hardened sand or dirt because some lazy tech didn't take the time to seal the conduit ends up when he was done before you.

I am not trying to be negative Jim but there is a world of difference between interior conduit and buried innerduct, that is why most underground contractors have a rodding truck (long ass roto rooter) to clear the pipe out after they pull the old cable out, then they use the rodder to pull in mule tape so they can pull new cable.
I know that you are going to say, I don't pull that long of runs!, but trust me a 6" blockage of coral muck that has dried & hardened for years will feel like you ran into a cement wall, I know this is getting off subject, sorry, but it still falls in the line of proper & quality tools to do the job and with that said I will shut up and go drink my beer and watch the boats go by.
