The individual mandate is a GOP plan.  They have been asking for it since Bush I.  Progressives are against the individual mandate.  Progressives want single payer.  Until now, conservatives have been the champions of the individual mandate.  Now that the Dems have accepted their idea, the GOP is now against it.  How can Dems be expected to work with these kind of people.


The Reps asked for an individual mandate  They got it.  Now the Reps call it unconstitutional.

The Reps asked for a deficit commision.  Dems agreed.  The Reps voted against it.

The Reps voted against the Stimulus bill and say it created no jobs.  Then the Reps attend ribbon cutting cermonies for stimulus project and say how happy they are that the bill is creating jobs in their states/districts.




This kind of behavior is campaign GOLD!!!   November will be interesting!
