I know this. But as someone who has been through the healthcare system extensively and expensively, I understand the system as we now have it. I have had to deal with the billing departments insured as well as uninsured. I have spoken with my numerous doctors. The majority of them hate this mess that was just passed. And it does nothing to reel in the costs, it just adds more people. Nothing was fixed that caused people to be uninsured.
And ask youself this, why back in the 60's and early 70's , why were most people not insured and we did not have this hysteria we have now. Why did health care get so expensive? Lawsuits and defensive medicine brought on by the lawsuits. Drug companies making new drugs that took 10 to 20 years to create, under FDA supervision the whole way, and if there is an issue, you get 100 million verdict. Lawyers, as with so many other areas in life, really screwed this up for all of us. And this bill does nothing to fix that.
