Nothing is free. I pay for my HC just like everyone else. I wanted this bill to pass to keep the cost of healthcare down so my premium will not continue to increase every year. Very few people will get "free" healthcare. But we all benefit by getting everyone insured. For those of us who pay for our insurance, our premiums will not rise at the pace they have been rising. Up until 2007, I had union benefits with no monthly premium. The past 3 years I have seen the cost of plans increase, and the plans dont get better. If I have to pay the same monthly amount, but get a better plan, this healthcare bill will have done right by me.
