Re: 5 Hour Commute???

     I moved to Denver in 1980 to start work on United's part of the Denver franchise.  I'm from New England.  The second week there had a snowfall of about 23" in day and a half.  Most of the guys were from So. Cal. and had no clue how to drive in the white stuff.  Went in at the end of the day and the supervisor asked me to go back out and drive some of the company trucks and crews that were calling in back to the yard.  Yuk, yuk.
