My normal commute to the jobsite, I am working at right now, is about 1hr and 15 min, at 75mph. Well,,we had a winter storm hit at the start of rush hour, last night. Left the job site at 4pm, and got home at 9pm. It was snowing so hard, 4 inches an hour, traffic was crawling, stop and go up the mountain, 3hr to go 20 miles. By the time I got home I had a foot of snow on the roof of my truck. Now,,the snow I can handle, but,,,the fair weather non driving dumb fucks,,,,STAY THE FUCK OFF THE ROAD. Damn,,,they make things, like snow tires, tire chains, and even all-wheel drive vehicles. Your living in the mountains people,,,,yes,, it snows up here, learn to deal with it, or move back to the flatlands.
I stayed home today, still fucking snowing, 20" on the ground so far. Springtime in the Rockies, gotta love it. Just had to vent a little bit.
5 Hour Commute???
