For installs the companion does what you need, if you know how to use it It will run thruput as well as most other tests Just make sure you know your channels and read your manual Good meter but can be a little touchy Also you have to buy a special program if you wnat to do updates or provision for your system 1 real nice thing is you can charge it on any blackberry charger or cpu lanyard as battery life is a bit short
