Trunks are the big things you see on the main line and LEs are the smaller and thinner things you see in neiborhoods.  Bridgers are in the trunk amp.  All have to amplifing signal to a point.  I must agree with the other guys.  Sounds like you never mess with the equipment and you just heard the language.  I would suggest you get up with a company and go with some hard core training before you even attempt adjusting levels or anything else for that fact.  If you dont, that system is in trouble and you will be out of work.
