This is the exact type of situation I am talkinn about . This job will cost you more than you make and is not profitable for you as a contractor. The answer is refuse the job. If they say we are not giving you anymore work file a ss8 on them and let them explain to the IRS why they are treating you like an employee or charge them with rackateering. Because if you dont know what a 1099 contractor is (which alot of techs dont even bother to find out their rights) you need to get witht the IRS and find out. They cant tell you to do itan they make it free! Nor can they demand it. But if you fall for that knind of trickery so will everyone else that looks up to you. And the "I need my job" attitude is what they use to cheapen our skills aqnd experience. Get a clue guys you loose in the long run and these guys just keep making everything more expensive for us. Hold your ground and fight their criminal attitudes. Its called stealing
