Choose your broom carefully, for large areas I would suggest a large shop broom the push type. For the small areas the standard type of broom will work just fine, and for a very small area a whisk-broom is recommended. Don't forget a good dustpan to gather up all those extra db's you'll be sweeping up.
Come on guy's you were all thinking the same thing.
On the serious side you would be better off hiring a company that does sweep, their setup for doing it. Your company should also have the spec's that they want to try to achieve. Unless your company has an established sweep program I don't see a tech that has "has just been blindly put into the job" setting one up.
