While this is an opinion piece it does hold obvious truths. But some can't see it past the desire for something good to come out of this. It is almost like a child who wants a puppy to make them happier. They don't realize all the crap they are going to have to clean up, all the times they are going to have to feed it and it is going to get bigger and need health care that they are going to have to pay for. A big difference here is that the puppy was a voluntary expense. This bill isn't voluntary at all.
