What's left to debate? This shit has been going on for almost 40 years.
Republicans didn't want to get involved with this because they knew that it would be political suicide for them come election time if they did.
There are Democrats and Republicans that are against this bill because they receive campain contributions from health insurance companies.
Anybody who tampers with the status quo on health care gets called out on the mat and is accused of being socialist. There is nothing socialist about this bill.
This bill has gotten closer than anything before it. That is why they are trying to get it passed as fast as they can. If they don't it get it to pass, I can guarantee that you wont see this opportunity come again for 10-15 years. And in that time, our health care costs will have completely crippled our economy.
