Well here is another way to think about it. They are telling us they can cover 30 million people, keep the level of health care, lower the deficit AND lower our premiums...........really? This is all based on assumptions that they will stop spending in other areas. In the first place they are taking a half a trillion dollars from Medicare. So they say. Then they say they are going to save in other areas. Assumptions. There is no clear path because the are assuming they are going to do these things. It is like a family saying "ok we can save money because we will stop going out to eat, stop vacations, stop frivolous spending and no emergencies will come up........." Assuming they can do that fine. But is it realistic? Not many believe it is. Because they see the reality of the government.
