I worked out of the Welcome, NC office from the end of '92 till they sold to TWC/Fanch in '96. We were under George Buchanan Sr. out of Eden, NC. Welcome covered High Rock Lake and Denton as well. Did you work for Warren Cochran or Dave Coleman? Dave was the regional construction manager and Cocky was the local construction manager. Squirrel and Nut traveled the southern Virginia and NC systems doing most of the construction. They used Rite Cable for anything big though.
