The law part of the test is the hard part, you also have to have a working knowledge of sprinkler and other low voltage control systems. If you have a license in another state they sometimes will allow you to work under it for 6 months to a year as long as you file and pay the fee. Before you bid work here take into account the tax rates, the cost of living ect., a lot of people come from out of state and put in what they think is a high bid and lose their ass, run the numbers carefully.
