Well atleast he was reading a book. I really dont give a rats ass what he reads. We all know his party and what it stands for. Whats suprising is in the obvious divide in recent months within the party. The problem with this administration is the fact they aren't focusing on the budget hard enough. They are replacing one agenda with another without cutting where needed. I think the American people want a government that gets it books in order. Not necessarilly eliminating programs but making them efficient and not adding new programs in a recession. We are poking ourself with a double edged sword with the ridiculous politics of fiscal mismanagement. The US military constitutes almost half (40%) of the worlds budget for military purposes. Why? With the substandard medical services provided to service men/women, and poor pay something is wrong with this picture. Yah we need that new fighter jet. Now with a socialist agenda we look to add stressing financial consequences. Our government has become one big bubble. I dont understand why not reform the systems in place. Making our federal and state governments act responsibly instead of relying on Chinese funding to keep the square wheel moving would be a good start. Allowing states stimulus funds to keep government jobs afloat for the short run has me puzzled. When we have Americans starving and homeless does one think healthcare reform should be at the tops on the list? When you cant make ends meet would you go out and buy that new Ranger bass boat, a Harley, or remodel the kitchen for the ole lady? That is what politics is and has done. They put special interests first and fight for pork in their state. With the "big" issues giving Americans something to fight over allows gross corruption and mismanagement of government programs to take back page news. Why can't we make able bodied welfare reciepients help build housing for the homeless or cook for homeless shelters? Or do something constructive in their neighborhood like picking upu their own trash? How about cutting new costly military projects? I can tell you the reason, VOTES!.... Its about politics not the American people. That tightrope is walked by both parties. Dont alienate anyone, just cater to one set of voters views.
