While I can't say for certain that I knew this man, I can say that someone who has made an impact enough for you to express yourself in such a way most certainly deserves a lineman's toast.
"For all the wisdom you shared/(buried in a green beans ass), for all the jobs you finished that others wanted no part of, for all the pride you swallowed in order to pay the rent and make payroll, for the times you inspired others around you to do it right not twice, for the commitment to get up every day and lace those boots up to put up with a never ending monotony of ignorant engineers and mso's, I salute your service to this industry and pray that the climb of that last pole is as satisfying as the first. If it were me I would ask to be buried in the most comfortable shoes I own, my line boots, and to be buried face down so the whole world can kiss my ass. That's just me though.. Rip cowboy.." good journey.....
