I was hurt on the job over a year ago (back injury). As a result I was let go from my company because my restrictions at the time were for sedentary work. I have now made a full recovery and eager to get back into slingin cable, but no one will hire me. I keep getting told that "the position was filled by someone more qualified..." blah blah blah. I've been doin cable since 2003 and have never had trouble finding work. I know it's the back injury that's killing my chances. I just wondered if anyone had any advice, maybe someone else has been where I am? Honestly this is getting frustrating, and I hate to leave the industry that I know, and for some strange reason love lol. Unfortunately I feel like I'm being pushed out, treated like a retiree at the age of 36!!
