Actually I do know...some of it!

Everyone is born with skills and preferences.
Everyone can do everything but...BUT...everyone has to work at different rates to get the same results.
Natural ability, training, prior related experience, acquired related skills and great interest all combine to produce the ability to proceed in any chosen profession.

I will not mention gentlemen promoted upon their relationships to other gentlemen! Those asshole buddies burn out on their own!

Some professions need many grunts. The grunts are directed by 1st Louies.  The Louies get their orders from Capts & Mgrs.
The system needs very few Mgr Gnrls so they dump folks along the way without looking back.

Hacks get in and out without promotion to senior hack or director of hacks.

 Aim higher!
