Yeah, I forgot completely about the rifling.  It would not be accurate even if it didnt damage the barrel.  Even with shotgun chokes you have to be careful to have a steel shot choke.  Can ruin a barrel very quick.  I guess you will paying out the butt for those bullets.  Did the reintroduction of the wolves have an effect on your game?  Heard some negative news about game not responding to calling.  They thought it was pressure from the wolves.
