Just my 2 cents but most of the lazy asses are from the contractors and BBT's not doing proper installs then, when they can't get it to work they call for a system tech to come out and save their ass. Could've been found if they only used their meters. Most of my time is spent chasing ingress and 95% of the time it's the lazy ass installer (inhouse or contractor) thats just shitting and getting the install. Then they have the gall to bitch about chargebacks. Sorry for the rant but you hit a very sore spot at a very bad time.
Highpass filters should be used sparingly but definately have there place.
