They claim that they will check credit, but I don't believe they look at it.  There are a ton of installers with bad credit, including myself, that are able to work.  Felonies are a definite NO-GO.  Misdemeanors are usually ok, probably 2 would be allowed.  But if they involve assault or domestic violence then that's a NO-GO.  You must have only 0, 1, or 2 traffic violations in the last 2 years.  If you have 3, that's a NO-GO.  Good news, though, if they process your background it will only take about 2-3 weeks to get your tech number!!
