Got a flyer in the mail last year that hiring ex-felons may make us eligible for tax credits. Not sure if it's just MN, or nationwide though. Called Work Opportunity Tax Credit. (WOTC)
Also includes Veterans, food stamp recipients, youths (16-17 summer employment), SSI recipients, inexperienced youths (16-24), & short or long term family assistant recipients.
